Hi, I am Mark Morris, Sales Manager for Suzuki of Wichita and RideHomeHappy West. You have found my place on the web where I will be writing about the goings on in my life as well as what some of my customers are saying about their experience at Suzuki of Wichita.
I was born right here in Wichita, Kansas on May 8th, 1976. I attended high school in Andover and am just shy of my Bachelor's degree by about 20 hours. I am happily married to my wife Angela and have two beautiful children, son Holden, and daughter Morgan. I have called Kansas home for most of my life and love the laid back lifestyle and great cost of living. I can't think of a better place to raise my family.
I came to Suzuki of Wichita with Tom White Jr. in his Grand Vitara if memory serves me correctly. I love the fact that we don't really work at Suzuki, it's more like we have a lot of fun, listen to sweet music on the overhead speakers, talk on the phone, send emails, and hang out with our best friends. We don't "HAVE TO" go to work, we "GET TO!" I also love the fact that I have the daily opportunity to affect my customers in a positive manner. I hate pushy salespeople more than anyone!
My favorite Suzuki model is a toss-up between the SX4 Crossover Touring Automatic and the SX4 Crossover Touring Manual (it depends onthe day). I am super excited about selling the entire Suzuki model line and would love to show you all the cool features these great vehicles have. I can't imagine ever buying a used car when you can buy a NEW Suzuki for less.
I love the Internet, especially YouTube, and can't get enough of the Johnson's Automotive Badger commercials. They make fun of traditional car dealerships and you can't help but smile when you see them. I also love the social media aspects of the Internet as it allows me to stay connected with a diverse group of friends and colleagues. I think Seth Godin's Squidoo is the "bees knees." I am on Facebook and MySpace as well.
I am a huge movie buff (my wife Angela works as a Manager for the Warren Theaters which is NICE). Some of my favorite movies include Bullit, Forest Gump (because Zac Williams is Forest even if he doesn't know it), Star Wars 1-6, Rocky 1-4 and sometimes 5 but Definitely NOT Rocky Balboa.
Before coming to Suzuk, I was in the hospitality business where I learned the importance of listening to my customers and providing a level of service far superior to other car dealerships. I would someday like to open my own restaurant (I'm a pretty good cook), but the dealership keeps me plenty busy right now.
