This occurred to me while watching Kyndall (My one year old) scale and clear the child gate when she thought nobody was watching: We are naturally fearless and curious by birthright.
After years of conditioning, and instruction, we develop fears and apprehension often without the adjoining experience. Here is my one year old.... having no clue of the danger involved in this feat, only focused on the goal of clearing that gate! Fear was never an issue. Only the joy of getting into something on the other side. What is your "Gate" today? What is in front of you that won’t allow you to even touch the that thing that you want on the other side? I mean, you can see it.... you know that you are capable of possessing it..... why do you live in fear of the obstruction? Fear is the domain of the adversary. I have heard it said that most people have no earthly clue of what they can do, because all that they have heard is what they CAN'T do.
Will you let the "gate" stop you again, today? Kyndall didn't... she didn't know it was supposed to.
Be fearless today.
